For all our NHS patients, if you have a problem out of hours please use the NHS 111 service.
This is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Emergency Out of Hours
Denplan Patients
You can call the Denplan 24/7 Emergency Helpline team on 0800 844 999. One of their trained representatives can facilitate an appointment for you with a dentist in your area as soon as possible.
Even if you're abroad, the Denplan team are on hand to help. Call +44 1962 844 999. They will be able to tell you what kind of treatment you are covered for, along with any advice on next steps.
Practice Plan Patients
For any emergencies, you can call the Assistant Team direct on 03300 532 061, during normal working hours. Any out of hours emergencies call 0808 169 8117 and the team will get you the correct help you need.
If you occur any emergencies whilst you are abroad, you are covered by the Worldwide Dental Emergency Scheme, Just call (0044) 1691 887955. They will be able to tell you if you are covered and give you the advice needed.
Private and Patients

Stonydelph Dental Practice is a part of a scheme called South Staffordshire Emergency Dental Service, SSEDS. This is an out of hours service we offer to our private patients, for peace of mind in case of an emergency should they wish to be seen out of our usual opening hours. This scheme involves participants of around 50-60 different dental practices, in the South Staffordshire area, who work together on a rota basis to provide this out of hours service.
