The Journey

Step 1 - Making Contact / Enquiries

From the moment you call Reception, and speak to our lovely receptionist, Ruth or one of our team, you will always be greeted by our friendly and professional manner. We aim to put all patients at ease and make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible whilst seeking the information you enquire about from appropriate members of the team.

Step 2 - Booked Appointment

Once an appointment has been booked for you, you will receive a confirmation email as well arrival instructions explaining what to expect when you come for your appointments. On your confirmation email you will have a link that will take you through to a portal, where you can fill out the necessary forms we require from you from the comfort of your own home in advance of your appointment. These are important for your dentist to view and read, to help deliver the best possible care to you.

Step 3 - First Appointment

As you approach the practice you will need to press the intercom button at the gates to allow access to come up the stairs. You will need to make your way along the balcony to reach the front door, which will be locked. You will need to ring the doorbell and wait for one of our team to greet you. Please be patient with us as someone will come and collect you as soon as they are available. We will then ask to take your temperature and respectfully give you hand sanitiser. If your clinician is ready for you, you will be taken straight into surgery, if not we will ask you to take a seat in the waiting room which is limited to only 2 people at a time (unless you are from the same household).
Within the appointment you will be able to let the dentist know your dental problems. Once you have been assessed t
hey will then provide you with what options are available to you and finalise a treatment plan with you.

Step 4 - Treatment plan

On occasion we may give you a brief outline of your options in surgery and then get our in-training Treatment Co-Ordinator to get in contact with you shortly after. They will inform you of all the options, explain to you how your appointments will work and a rough estimate of the time and costs involved. This will allow you to take the time to consider what treatment is being proposed and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have in a confidential way outside of the surgery.

The Journey

Step 5 - Treatment

Once you have accepted the treatment plan we will arrange appointment/s with you at a mutually convenient time. If there are more than one appointments needed we will try to book them all in to ensure there is no delay in completing your treatment.
Throughout your appointments you will be updated if there are any amendments that need to be made to your treatment plan based on your dental needs.

Step 6 - After Care

Once all treatment is complete, we may ask you to return for a review appointment as part of your treatment. We may give you leaflets/instructions to take away to continue care at home. These are available to download on our patient care page.
